Hailing from Rustenburg, South Africa, Thami Jay is a remarkable producer bringing his vibrant, multi-lingual Gospel House music to the forefront. His musical journey began at a young age when he sang in the school choir and honed his skills on the keyboard and drums as part of the worship team at Robega AM. His talent caught the attention of Gospel singer Vicky Vilakazi in Johannesburg, leading him to play alongside her. Upon returning to his hometown, Thami Jay transitioned into music production while serving as the music director for the Life Changers Church.
His exceptional abilities opened doors for collaborations with various local and national artists, including Tumi from Adila and Lehlohonolo, Douglas Mosadi, Mo Molemi, and Henny C, among others. Currently running his own production company called ‘Elevations’ and working at Mofunk Gospel studios, Thami Jay has already released seven albums, solidifying his presence in the South African music market.
